Roseburg Roundabout

Oregon Department of Transportation awarded the City of Roseburg modernization funds to construct a multilane roundabout at the Aviation Drive and Edenbower Boulevard intersection. Considered more environmentally friendly and safer than traffic signals, roundabouts reduce the amount of time cars spend stuck in traffic. Maintenance is minimal, and the absence of signals mean no energy is required. BTS Engineering & Surveying needed as-built data of the existing intersection to complete the project. The company employed Epic Scan to obtain accurate measurements of the areas impacted by the roundabout.
