Washington Plaza Apartments

The 43-year-old Washington Plaza Apartments needed asbestos abatement; space expansion; and plumbing, electrical and efficiency upgrades. BRIDGE Housing joined forces with Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA) to remodel the low-income seniors apartment complex. Before undertaking the nearly yearlong retrofitting project, BRIDGE Housing needed accurate representations of the housing unit’s current state. Ferrari Moe Architects hired Epic Scan to obtain 3D laser scan data and exact measurements of the Washington Plaza Apartments. Epic Scan used high-definition imaging and full spherical photography to create virtual site access (VSA) of the project site.
